of medicinal herbs and plant deities
plants as healers as breadwinner, as a benefactor, as gods and demons. After we have learned to know and respect all these aspects, we can easily recognize that plants have a soul, its own character, a personality that can affect us very much more than we might like to admit it. At the end of this book, the reader learns how he come into contact with the plants and souls can learn again to capture the healing power or spell power a plant intuitive.

Herbalism
The true herbalists is not only a botanist or a pharmacologist, someone who knows the plants from the outside and has read about its use. He can be rather occultist in the sense that he looks beneath the surface of the phenomenal world. He can summon the hidden nature of the name. He knows the magic words that work in the shadows. Therefore, herbalists are often as feared as respected. Your word can act as a blessing or a curse, and their words can heal or make ill.
Wolf-Dieter Storl understands it, the almost forgotten Knowledge of herbs and female Wuzelsepps for modern people to make accessible by opening eyes and hearts to the true nature of the plants.
Review: again, I must say one of the best books I ever read when it comes to know about plant .. it is planted deep insight into the world and here you come to ponder whether it is not but better access to take herbs instead of back at eg a normal common cold things any chemical in the hineinzu ... who wants to know his thinking and wants to expand the book that I can only put his heart
The Magic of Trees
Many cultures revere trees - such as a medicinal plant or as a symbol of the spiritual side of life. Thus, the bark of willow supplies for a long time remedy for colds and rheumatism, and the ash was in the Norse mythology as a symbolic World Tree, which stands for the whole cosmos and the connection to the gods. For the Celts the proximity to trees was particularly large: They were the close companion throughout the whole annual cycle. The connection to certain Trees reflected even against Indians writing of the Celts, in the so-called Ogham alphabet. The first letter of the alphabet is Beth, which means birch. This tree also begins on 24 December, the Celtic tree calendar. The last letter is Alim, derived from pine, which also ends the annual cycle. The order of the twenty local, trees presented here follows this tree alphabet. Whether alder and elderberry or yew and beech: Each portrait presents the botanical basics, the healing powers and the mythological significance of each tree. That's how you get these trees in all its facets and can be most nearly forgotten knowledge and deep connection to these particular trees of the Celts . Share
